In the last few weeks, I've used the time to work through what's left behind. For example, the huge mountain of trade magazines that had accumulated. Looking through and reading — some magazines were several years old — it was fascinating to see how long we've been thinking we're in a recession. And now we realize that there was actually nothing until 2020...
What I also found interesting was how often my assessment of possible future scenarios was correct. No, I'm not a prophetess, but a person who looks at every situation from different angles and doesn't shy away from taking perspectives that seem completely absurd. It is precisely this that gives me ideas or insights that I would not find in the usual ways.
Why am I saying that? Because I am now available as a certified member of the supervisory board. With my diverse qualifications, I want to help companies make the right decisions today for a successful day after tomorrow.
Many compare the situation following the corona crisis with the period after the Second World War. This is true because we had to rebuild a lot of things back then. This is perhaps also true in that most people had to do a reality check the hard way. Back then, too, the crisis affected the entire world. It would be wonderful if that German economic miracle Could repeat. What set us apart back then? Optimism, capital aid, and initiative, for example. Everyone tackled as they could, regardless of whether they were trained to do so or not.
Even if no houses are in rubble after Corona, the economy will have suffered major damage. It is therefore about sticking together in order to rebuild everything together — but in line with the 21st century. New business models, new structures and new ways of working will emerge. Since we were able to experience that digital work is much more broadly possible than expected, we can use other working time models.
